1. Why we collect data
SigVerify is an anti-fraud verification service. We collect the data needed to publish and maintain trusted provider records, protect platform security, route quote requests, and preserve the trust checks attached to those flows.
2. What we collect
This can include provider identity details, license numbers, official business contacts, profile assets, package or quote metadata, operational logs, and security events that help us maintain anti-fraud trust records.
We try to minimize personal data collection and avoid gathering information unrelated to verification, fraud prevention, account security, or service operations.
3. Public versus private information
Some provider-facing information is intentionally public because the product works by giving travellers a source of truth. Public provider pages can include business identity, status, verified contact rails, and public package context. Internal account details, admin activity, security events, and non-public inquiry data are not treated as public marketing content.
4. How we use data
We use data to verify provider records, protect accounts, monitor abuse, surface trust signals, and operate product features such as provider pages, package browsing, quote routing, and anti-fraud review flows. We do not sell traveller data or provider operational data to third parties.
5. Security and anti-fraud protections
SigVerify uses security controls designed to protect accounts, trust records, and verification flows. That can include encryption, signed records, access controls, audit logging, and fraud-monitoring systems. No internet service can promise absolute security, but protecting trust data is central to how we operate.
6. Third-party services and authorities
We may rely on infrastructure providers, communications vendors, storage vendors, analytics providers, and official or quasi-official data sources to operate the service. Where we use third parties, we try to share only the minimum data needed for the specific function.
